Classic Chicken Noodle
Ingredients
3 Tbp butter
1 cup diced onion
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced carrots
3 cloves minced garlic
1 Tbsp flour
6 cups chicken broth
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 chopped rotisserie chicken
8 0z. (1/2 bag) wide egg noodles
Preparation
Melt butter in large stock pot on medium heat
Add onions, celery, & carrots, stir & sautee for 5 minutes
Add garlic, cook 2 minutes
Add flour & stir to coat veggies, cook another minute
Add chicken broth, 1 cup at a time, stirring continuously
Add black pepper, rosemary, & thyme
Add rotisserie chicken
Add egg noodles
Simmer until noodles are cooked, stirring occassionally
